TROPICAL STORM BARBARA FORMS IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC

A new tropical storm has developed strength in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system, now known as Tropical Storm Barbara, is presently located about 250 miles east of the coast of southern/western Mexico. Experts are anticipating that Barbara will grow in power over the next few days. The storm is heading northwestward at a rate of 10 mph.
